How Express Carrier Dispatch works from day to day

Express Carrier Dispatch is the trading name of Express Logistics London Ltd, a same-day courier dispatch business working out of London. We take a job, match it to a rider or driver near the pickup, and move it straight to the drop-off. You deal with one dispatch desk from quote to proof of delivery. No depots, no overnight sorting, no waiting for a van to fill up.

You phone or send the job details, and we come back with a price and a collection time. Once you accept, the job goes to the nearest available rider. You get the rider's name and a tracking link. If the item is urgent, we say so on the job sheet and the rider runs it direct rather than adding stops on the way.

We handle legal documents, pharmacy boxes, bike parts, trade samples and everyday parcels across all London postcodes. Some jobs need a signature at both ends. Others need a cool bag or a hard case. We ask about that at booking. Anything fragile, temperature-sensitive or high value travels with the right packaging and is signed for on handover.

Our riders and drivers work as a mixed fleet. Bicycles and mopeds take the short central runs and cut through traffic. Cars and small vans cover heavier items and jobs that leave the M25. We keep enough riders on shift through the working day to cover the peaks, and we run a smaller night cover for early starts and late finishes.

Pricing is per job and agreed before we set off. You get a written confirmation with the collection address, the drop-off address, the item description and the price. If the job changes mid-run, we tell you before anything moves. Invoices go out weekly for account customers, or you can pay per job by card.

If something goes wrong, you speak to the same dispatch team that booked the job. We chase the rider, update you and put it right. That is the whole model: a small London team, plain pricing and a straight answer on where your item is.
